  • Settle into a comfortable position, then relax and let the body fall still.
  • Focus on your breath for a few minutes to calm the mind, just watching the air flow out and back in.
  • Let your mind reflect for a minute on all the people you come into contact with on a regular basis—the people who form the circle of your daily life.
  • Think about the story you have built up about this circle surrounding you— how you believe that they are simply “normal” people.
  • Now, create a different story—allow yourself to entertain the possibility that these are all in fact enlightened Beings in disguise, here to help you.
  • Think about some of the things these Beings have said or done to you recently that have guided you or pointed you in the right direction.
  • Now think about the last argument you got into with one of these Beings, and figure out how that as well was all purposely designed to help you on your journey to enlightenment.
  • In closing, try to plan some moment during your day when you stop and remember this meditation—some moment where you look around suspiciously at all the so-called “normal” people surrounding you.
  • This meditation actually plants the seed for you yourself to become an Angel—an enlightened Being—for you are practicing seeing the world as you will see it when you reach the final stage of your evolution.
  • Another way to practice though, is simply to sit and envision yourself as the Angel, with a body of light and a pure, perfect mind, just as we did in the very first meditation in this book.
