The Lady Who Stops War

- Get into a comfortable seated position. Let your eyes fall closed, and your body fall still.
- Watch your breath for a few moments, as it exits and then enters your nostrils.
- In the space in front of you, picture a glorious wrathful Angel. She is ten feet tall, body the color of a midnight sky, with blazing red eyes and fangs that drip blood. She is glaring down at you fiercely, playing with the different weapons she holds in her hands.
- She is the Lady Who Stops War, and She is here because you called Her to help you get rid of your anger.
- She feeds on violence, death, destruction, taking it into Herself and destroying it forever. To Her, it is pure nectar.
- Look now into your heart, and find any anger that remains there. Look back into your recent past and recall any incidents of anger or upsetness.
- See them all as a charred black pile of soot in your heart.
- Take the whole evil black pile, and offer it now to the Angel. You have no more need of this, be rid of it— ask the Angel to destroy it for you.
- She takes it all, and in one swoop swallows the entire thing, reveling in it, destroying it.
- Your heart is now light, free of all violence or anger.
- Send out this Angel now, into the world, wherever there is anger, war or violence. Watch Her as She goes to each place, and swallows the anger in each person’s heart, leaving only peace.
- Continue this until you can picture a world without any violence at all, a world in total harmony.
- Then thank the Angel as She flies back to Her heaven.
